Eligibility: Open to eligible NTPGA Members who are a minimum of 50 years of age as of August 25, 2014, with the exception of A-3 Members.

NOTE: Qualifying for the 2014 Senior PGA Professional National Championship presented by Mercedes-Benz is held in conjunction with the Northern Texas Senior PGA Professional Championship.

Qualifying Spots: There are six (6) qualifying spots and three (3) alternate spots into the 2014 Senior PGA Professional National Championship. In addition to the qualifying spots, the Northern Texas Senior PGA Professional Champion will also qualify assuming he is signed up for national qualifier. The National Championship is to be held November 13-16, 2014, at PGA Golf Club’s Wanamaker and Ryder Courses, in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Format: The Championship will be conducted at individual stroke play over 36-holes. Eighteen (18) holes played each day. Note: There are no separate divisions for this Championship.

Purse: $8,750.00 estimated (based on a field of 50 players).

Entry Fee: $150.00 - Includes practice round, cart & range fees and lunch on Monday.

Entry Deadline: Thursday, August 21 at 5:00 p.m. CDT. Entry forms for the Northern Texas Senior PGA Professional Championship must be returned to the Northern Texas PGA via mail, facsimile, overnight carrier or in person prior to the entry deadline. On-line entries will be accepted at www.ntpga.com.

Starting Times: First round starting times and groupings will be available by calling the Northern Texas PGA or check www.ntpga.com after 3:00 p.m. on Friday, August 22. Starting times and groupings will also be emailed to players.

Practice Rounds: Practice rounds will be available Monday-Thursday anytime and Friday-Sunday after 12:00 p.m. beginning Monday, August 4. Please contact the golf shop 5 days in advance to arrange your complimentary practice round.

Senior Series: This is the third event of the NTPGA Senior Series. The NTPGA Senior Series includes the Eastern, Western, Seniors’ and NTPGA Section Championship. NTPGA Senior Points for representation on the Texas Joe Black Cup team will also be distributed to the top ten (10) finishers.
