From Downtown Dallas, Start on 35E-North and continue onto 183 West towards DFW Airport, merge right onto John Carpenter Freeway (Highway 114) and continue west in one of the outside lanes until you reach the MacArthur exit

HOST FACILITY: Four Seasons Resort & Club (TPC) - Future Site 2006 EDS Byron Nelson Championship.
HOST PROFESSIONAL -Paul Earnest (972) 717-2530.
ELIGIBILITY: Open to professionals and amateurs who have a USGA handicap index of 2.4 or lower (or a USGA handicap of 2 or less). Amateurs should include verification of their handicap by a PGA professional on the entry form below.
FORMAT: The event will be contested at individual stroke play over 36 holes.
PURSE: Estimated $21,000.00 (based on a field of 84 players).
ENTRY FEES: Entry fee includes cart/greens fee and range usage for the event. The entry fee is payable in cash, cashier's check, money order, traveler's check or VISA or MasterCard. Personal checks will be accepted from PGA Member/Apprentice Professionals only. No refunds will be issued after 5:00 p.m. CST on Monday, January 23. All players must have a valid social security number or tax identification number in order to enter the competition.
ENTRY DEADLINE: Monday, January 23 at 3:00 p.m. CST. The first 84 entries will be accepted into the field (based on priority system listed in Tournament Rules & Regulations). Entry forms shall be returned to the Northern Texas PGA via mail, facsimile, overnight carrier or in person, or contestants may enter on-line, prior to the deadline. Late entries will be accepted on a space available basis with a $50.00 late fee.
ON-LINE ENTRIES:On-line entries will be accepted at www.ntpga.com (starting January 2).
STARTING TIMES: First round starting times will be available by calling Four Seasons Resort (TPC) or the Northern Texas PGA or checking www.ntpga.com after 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 24.
PRACTICE ROUNDS: Practice rounds will be available on weekdays prior to the event starting on Wednesday, January 18. Contact Four Seasons Resort (TPC) a week in advance to set up a practice round. A fee of $30.00 will be charged for practice rounds.
DRESS CODE: Proper professional attire is required. Shorts are not permitted during the event. Four Seasons Resort (TPC) is a non-metal spike facility. All contestants must abide by this policy.
USE OF MEASURING-DEVICES: A player may use a device that measures distance only. The use of devices that gauge or measure other conditions that might affect a player's play (e.g., wind, temperature, gradient etc.), regardless of whether any such additional functions are actually used is not permitted. |
