Eligibility: Open to eligible NTPGA Members who are a minimum of 50 years of age on July 19, 2006, with the exception of A-3 Members.
NOTE: Qualifying for the 2006 Callaway Golf PGA Senior Club Professional Championship is held in conjunction with the FINA NTPGA Seniors’ Championship. Only eligible PGA Members may enter qualifying. An eligible Member who will turn 50 following July 19, 2006, but prior to October 19, 2006, may compete in the PGA Senior CPC qualifying portion only.
To enter qualifying for the 2006 Callaway Golf PGA Senior Club Professional Championship, PGA Members must call 1-800-474-2776 or register at www.pgalinks.com prior to 5:00 p.m. EDT by Wednesday, July 12, 2006.
Format: The Championship will be conducted at individual stroke play over 36 holes. 18 holes played each day.
Divisions:(1) Overall Champion;(2) Age Groups [50-59,60-69, and 70 & Up].
Purse: $4,000.00 estimated (based on a field of 35 players).
Entry Fee: $125.00 (Includes cart/range fees for both rounds, breakfast prior to and lunch following both rounds).
Entry Deadline: Friday, July 14 at 5:00 p.m. CDT. Entry forms for the FINA Northern Texas PGA Seniors’ Championship must be returned to the Northern Texas PGA via mail, facsimile, overnight carrier or in person prior to the entry deadline. On-line entries will be accepted at www.ntpga.com.
Starting Times: First round starting times will be available by calling the Northern Texas PGA or check www.ntpga.com after 9:00 a.m. on Monday, July 17.
Practice Rounds: RIDGLEA COUNTRY CLUB WILL BE CLOSED ON TUESDAY, JULY 18. Practice rounds will be available on weekdays prior to July 8th and on July 16-17. Contact Ridglea Country Club (South) to schedule a practice round. The Championship will be conducted from the blue tees, 6,833 yards.
Senior Series: This is the second event of the NTPGA Senior Series. The NTPGA Senior Series includes the Eastern, Seniors’, Western and NTPGA Championships. NTPGA Senior Points for representation on the Texas Joe Black Cup team will also be distributed to the top 10 finishers.
Accommodations: La Quinta Inn & Suites Fort Worth Southwest on Bryant Irvin Road is offering a rate of $95.00 (double) or $105.00 (king) + tax. Please call (817) 370-2700 by July 1 to make your reservation. The hotel is approximately 5 minutes from the club.
