HOST PROFESSIONAL: Reg Adams, (318) 798-8301
ELIGIBILITY: Open to eligible NTPGA Members and Apprentices (A-3 Members may not play on the same team). Entries will be accepted on a priority basis as follows: Prior to Thursday, February 16 – (1) Teams of two PGA Members; (2) Teams of one PGA Member and one Apprentice; and (3) Teams of two Apprentices. Following Thursday, February 16 – Teams will be accepted on a first-come basis.
FORMAT: 36 holes at Four-Ball Stroke Play.
PURSE: $23,000 (based on a full field of 60 teams).
ENTRY FEE: $350.00 per team, this includes both contestant’s golf car and range balls each day, breakfast each morning, lunch following the first round and a sponsor gift from Cutter & Buck and American Dry Goods.
ENTRY DEADLINE: Thursday, March 2 at 5:00 p.m. CST. The first 60 team entries will be accepted into the field (in accordance with the priority system identified above). Entry forms shall be returned to the Northern Texas PGA via mail, facsimile, overnight carrier or in person, or contestants may enter on-line, prior to the entry deadline. On-line entries will be accepted at www.ntpga.com. If a team signs up on-line, the player signing up the team must pay the team entry fee of $350.00, in full at that time. NOTE: A $10.00 administrative fee will be charged should a team withdraw.
STARTING TIMES AND GROUPINGS: Please contact the NTPGA, Southern Trace CC or check www.ntpga.com after 3:00 p.m. on Friday, March 3. After starting times and groupings are created, they will be emailed to all tournament participants from Blue Golf.
PRACTICE ROUNDS: Contact Southern Trace CC to schedule a practice round starting time. Practice rounds will be available on weekdays prior to the event. Southern Trace CC has blocked off practice round tee times on Sunday from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. and in the afternoon on Sunday from 1:30 - 2:00 p.m. for participants. Due to the limited number of practice rounds on Sunday, please plan accordngly.
SENIOR DIVISION: There is a Senior Division in the Ace Laminates of Texas Pro-Pro Championship. In addition to the regular purse, teams with two senior professionals 50 years and older will be competing for a team purse of $1,000.00.
ACCOMMODATIONS: Eldorado Resort Casino Shreveport (formally The Hollywood Casino)– (877) 602-0711 or (318) 220-0711 is offering a rate of $60.00 (single or double) + tax. When making reservations, state that you are with the Northern Texas PGA Group. NOTE: All reservations must be made by February 27th to guarantee this group rate.
