Host Professional: Craig Pullen, Director of Golf (972) 625-8916.
Eligibility: Open to eligible NTPGA Members classified A-1, A-2, A-4, A-13 or A-14 teamed with one of their employed assistants. The assistant professional must be an A-8 Member or Registered Apprentice [all B-Classifications]. A maximum of four (4) employed assistant professionals from a facility may compete if playing with a Head Professional or Director of Golf. If a Head Professional or Director of Golf are playing together, the maximum number of employed assistant professionals that can compete is three (3). The maximum number of players per team is five (5). The field is limited to 256 players.
Format: 36 holes at Four-Ball Stroke Play. Play will commence with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start with continuous play over 36 holes on the Stonebriar CC course. Boxed lunches will be available and are included in the entry fee.
Please note: This event will serve as a qualifier for the Metro Chapter Team Match Play Championship. To enter, each team must pay an additional $100.00. The low 16 teams will advance to the Metro Chapter Team Match Play Finals. Seedings will be determined by your team 36-hole total.
Purse: $19,000.00 (based on 120 teams).
Entry Fee: $150.00 per team. This includes each contestant’s golf car, range balls, lunch and a tee gift from Ashworth.
Entry Deadline: Thursday, April 13 at 5:00 p.m. CDT. Entry forms shall be returned to the Northern Texas PGA via mail, facsimile, overnight carrier or in person prior to the entry deadline.
Practice Rounds: Contact Stonebriar CC to schedule a practice round. Practice rounds will be available Tuesday – Friday prior to the event for Metro Chapter Members and on a space available basis on Sunday after 12:00 p.m. for East and West Texas Chapter Members only.
Accommodations: Westin Stonebriar Resort (888) 627-8441 is offering a rate of $79.00 (single/double) plus tax, per night. Please state that you are with the NTPGA when making a reservation, or register on-line at www.ntpga.com.
