FORMAT:
18-hole stroke play qualifying for the EDS Byron Nelson Championship, April 26-29, 2007, at Four Seasons Resort & Club in Irving.
ELIGIBILITY:
Northern Texas PGA “Class A” members in good standing. Note: Class A-3 members of the Section are ineligible to participate in the NTPGA “Class A” member qualifying for PGA Tour or Nationwide Tour events.
QUALIFYING SPOTS:
There will be two (2) qualifying spots available. The NTPGA will cover entry fees into the 2007 EDS Byron Nelson Championship for the two (2) qualifiers. In addition, the NTPGA Section Champion receives an exemption into the EDS Byron Nelson Championship. If necessary, any ties for the final qualifying spot(s) and alternate positions will be determined by a sudden-death playoff immediately following the completion of play.
ENTRY FEE:
$125.00. Entry fee includes greens fee and range usage for the qualifying event.
PRACTICE ROUNDS:
Please contact Columbian Country Club to schedule a practice round. Practice rounds will be available during the week and only after 12:00 p.m. on the weekends.
TRANSPORTATION:
Players and caddies shall walk at all times, except when permitted to ride by the Rules Committee. Players are not required to have a caddie; they may carry their own clubs. Golf cars are not permitted.
Anyone seeking a golf cart due to a disability defined under the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) should contact the PGA Tour’s Competitions Department at (904) 285-3700 to obtain information on procedures for submitting such requests. All such requests due to temporary injuries or impairments that do not qualify as a “disability” under the ADA will not be granted.
