Richardson, TX – Will Doughtie, assistant golf professional at The Vaquero Club, outlasted Britt Patton, head golf professional at Dallas National Golf Club, in a sudden death playoff to claim the E-Z-GO Eastern Championship. Doughtie made a birdie on the second playoff hole to capture the Championship. Doughtie erased a five shot deficit heading into the final round by firing a 4-under par 68 (34-34) today. Doughtie finished the Championship with a two day total of 4-under par, 140. Patton finished the Championship in second place at 4-under par, 140 with two consecutive rounds of 70.
