National Entry Fee & Deadline:
$110.00 entry fee is payable to the PGA National office before the deadline of Thursday, July 5 at 4:00 p.m. CDT
Section Entry Fee:
$90.00 entry fee is payable to the Section and entitles each player to the shared use of a Club Car, unlimited Titleist range balls each day and lunch following round one. The balance will be applied to the Championship purse.
Section Entry Deadline:
Thursday, August 9 at 5:00 p.m. CDT.
Format:
The Championship will be contested at stroke play over 36 holes.
Starting Times & Groupings:
The starting times and groupings for round one will be available by calling Gentle Creek Golf Club (972) 346-2500 or the NTPGA or by visiting www.ntpga.com after 3:00 p.m. on Friday, August 10. (If you require a starting time request for round one, please denote it on entry form no later than 5:00 p.m. on August 9.) Starting times will be off of the 1st and 10th tees in the morning and the afternoon. The field will be repaired for the final round according to round one scores. Low scores will play in the afternoon wave and higher scores will play in the morning wave.
National Qualifying Spots:
Their are eight (8) qualifying spots available for the 41st PGA Professional National Championship being held June 19-22, 2008 at Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, Georgia.
Practice Rounds:
Practice rounds will be available weekdays prior to the Championship for Metro Chapter Members and on a limited space available basis on Sunday afternoon for those players from the East Texas and West Texas Chapters. Contact Gentle Creek Golf Club at (972) 346-2550 to arrange a practice round starting time.
Registration:
Tournament registration will take place from 6:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the clubhouse on Monday, August 13. Please be sure to register prior to your starting time.
Refunds:
If you are unable to play, please notify the section office. In accordance with the national policy, you will be refunded $50.00 of the $110.00 entry fee you paid the PGA national office. After 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 11, no refunds will be issued.
