GOLF CAR POLICY	Texas State Open Second Chance Qualifying GOLF CAR POLICY The Cascades does not have golf car paths around the entire golf course. If inclement weather continues in the area, golf cars WILL NOT be allowed. Please prepare for the event to be WALKING ONLY. A player may take a caddie or carry their own bag for the competition. A final decision will be made on this matter by the NTPGA Rules Committee before play on July 3.
Measuring Devices	Distance-Measuring Devices – Rule 14. A player may obtain distance information by using a device that measures distance only. However, if, during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance-measuring device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his play (e.g., gradient, wind-speed, temperature, etc.), the player is in breach of Rule 14-3, for which penalty is disqualification, regardless of whether any such additional functions are actually used.
On-Site Registration	Starting times for the Texas State Open qualifying event at Tascosa Country Club will begin at 1:30 p.m. Players must check in at the golf shop at least 30 minutes prior to their scheduled starting time to pay their on-site qualifying fee (maximum $25.00) and to receive their official score card.
Starting Times and Groupings	Starting times and groupings for this Texas State Open qualifying event will be available by calling the host facility after 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 30 or by visiting www.ntpga.com. Pairings will also be emailed to each play entered in the qualifying event.
