MASSA & HOTMAN CAPTURED THE NTPGA / ADAMS GOLF PRO-SCRATCH CHAMPIONSHIP

Thackerville, Oklahoma – The team of Cody Massa, Assistant Golf Professional at The Cascades, and amateur partner Chris Hotman captured the NTPGA / Adams Golf Pro-Scratch Championship with an 11-under par second round score of 61 to finish at 18-under par for the Championship.

Massa and Hotman fired an opening round of 7-under par 65 to finish two shots out of the lead after day one. They quickly caught the leading team by shooting a 7-under par 29 on their first nine holes which included five birdies and one eagle.

The four-ball stroke play NTPGA major championship featured 60 teams of one professional teamed with one scratch amateur competing at WinStar Golf Course located in Thackerville, Oklahoma.

The 60 teams are competed for a share of the $14,100.00 purse. Massa and Hotman took home $1,500.00 for first place. Amateurs were awarded gift certificates.

The Adams Golf Pro-Scratch Championship was presented by Yamaha Golf Cars.
