Host Professional:
Ronny Glanton, Head Golf Professional (972) 234-1416.

Eligibility:
Open to eligible NTPGA Members and Apprentices, with the exception of A-3 Members.

Format:
Individual stroke play over 36-holes.

Purse:
$33,000.00 estimated (based on a field of 120 players).

Bonus Pool:
Bridgestone Golf will be offering a $500.00 bonus pool for NTPGA professionals. To be eligible for the bonus pool, the NTPGA professional must play a Bridgestone ball for all 36-holes (One Ball Condition applies). Ties will be equally shared.

Player’s Pool:
Professionals “out of the money” following the first round will be eligible for a final round player’s pool of $1,000.00. “Out of the money” is defined by those players who would not earn tournament winnings based on the posted tournament proper purse. There is no additional entry fee for the Player’s Pool. The final round player’s pool is separate from the tournament proper purse. The payout will be as follows: 1st – 20%; 2nd – 17%; 3rd – 14%; 4th – 12%; 5th – 10%; 6th – 8%; 7th – 5.5%; 8th – 5.0%; 9th – 4.5%; 10th – 4.0%. All ties will be equally shared. The final round player’s pool will be paid out by the Section office via check or direct deposit only.

Entry Fee:
$200.00, this includes cart/range fees, continental breakfast prior to each round, lunch on Monday and a tee gift from Pukka Headwear.

Entry Deadline:
Thursday, June 5 at 5:00 p.m. CDT. The first 144 entries will be accepted into the field. Entry forms shall be returned to the Northern Texas PGA via mail, facsimile, overnight carrier or in person prior to the entry deadline. On-line entries will be accepted at www.ntpga.com.

Starting Times:
First round starting times will be available by calling Sherrill Park GC or the Northern Texas PGA or by checking www.ntpga.com after 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 6. Starting times will also be emailed to all players following the entry deadline.

E-Z-GO Pro-Am:
E-Z-GO is sponsoring a Pro-Am event on Sunday, June 8 at Sherrill Park Golf Course. Professionals are needed for the Pro-Am in addition to teams. If you have an interest in playing in the Pro-Am with a sponsor team, please check the Pro-Am box below. There is a $40.00 skins game for professionals only payable at registration. For more information, please see the Pro-Am entry form or contact the Northern Texas PGA office. Pro-Am entry forms are available at www.ntpga.com.

Practice Rounds:
For all NTPGA Members, practice rounds will be available on weekdays prior to the Championship and on a space available basis on the weekends. To schedule a practice round starting time, please contact Sherrill Park Golf Course. NOTE: Practice rounds will not be available on Sunday, June 8, due to the E-Z-GO Eastern Championship Pro-Am. Limited professional only spots are available in the Pro-Am.

Player of the Year:
The E-Z-GO Eastern Championship is the first of four stroke play events that will serve as qualifying events for the year-end Cleveland Golf / Club Car Match Play Championship, Texas Joe Black Cup and the James P. Jordan Cup teams.

Senior Series:
This is the first event of the NTPGA Senior Series. NTPGA Senior Points for representation on the Texas Joe Black Cup team will be distributed to the top 10 finishers.

Accommodations:
Best Western Park Suites is offering a rate of $79.00 (single/double) + tax. Please call (972) 578-2243 to make a reservation. When making a reservation, state that you are with the Northern Texas PGA group. Reservations must be made two weeks before the event to secure this special room rate.
 Pro-Am Information
Host Professional:

Eligibility:
Open to eligible NTPGA Members and Apprentices.

Format:
There will be a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start. Registration and lunch will commence at 11:00 a.m. in the pavilion. The format for the Pro-Am will be the low net ball, plus the low gross ball of the team. Two separate balls must count. Amateurs will receive 75% of their handicap (handicap limit of 24).

Team Entry Fee:
$375.00 team entry fee (three amateurs @ $125.00 each). Field size is limited to 30 teams.

Professional Entry Fee:
$40.00 professional entry fee payable onsite. The professional entry fee will be put into a skins pool for professionals only. Professionals can enter without an amateur team. They will be assigned a team from Sherrill Park. A limited number of professional only entries will be accepted by returning this entry form.

The entry fee includes the following:
• One round of golf
• Complimentary range balls
• A ball cap and 2-ball pack of B330S golf balls from
Bridgestone Golf
• Tee gift for each participant from Byron Nelson
Apparel
• Beverages during the Pro-Am
• Closest to the hole/long drive prizes for amateurs
• Lunch prior to shotgun start
• Reception following play including live
entertainment by the “Emerald City Band” from
6:00-8:30 p.m. (spouses and family may attend)

Team Prize Distribution:
The amateur purse will be paid to 33% of the field as follows (based on a field of 30 teams): 1st) $200.00 per player; 2nd) $175.00 per player; 3rd) $150.00 per player; 4th) $125.00 per player; 5th) $100.00 per player; 6th) $75.00 per player; 7th) $50.00 per player; 8th) $45.00 per player; 9th) $40.00 per player; 10th) $35.00 per player. Amateurs will be awarded gift certificates to the Sherrill Park golf shop.

Pro-Am Entry Deadline:
Monday, June 2 at 5:00 p.m. CDT. All Pro-Am entry forms shall be returned to the Northern Texas PGA via mail, facsimile, overnight carrier or in person prior to the entry deadline. Online registration will not be available for the Pro-Am. A maximum of 30 teams will be accepted.

Dress Code:
Proper golf attire is required. Bermuda-length shorts are permitted for amateurs; however, slacks must be worn by all professionals during the Pro-Am.

Non-Metal Spikes:
The E-Z-GO Eastern Championship Pro-Am is a non-metal spike tournament only.
