| Pro-Am Information |

Eligibility:
Invited male and female amateur players and teams. Professionals will be assigned to each amateur team.
Pro-Am Format:
The pro-am will be conducted at Eastern Hills Country Club. Play will commence with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. Registration will commence at 7:00 a.m. The format for the pro-am will be the low net ball, plus the low gross ball of the team. The same ball may count twice. There is a separate low professional division.
Pro-Am Summary:
The following is a summary of the pro-am. There is no charge to play in the pro-am.
• One round of golf at Eastern Hills Country Club
• Complimentary range balls
• Tee gifts for each amateur participant
• Beverages during the pro-am
• Closest to the hole/long drive prizes for amateurs
• Continental breakfast prior to the pro-am
• Lunch following the pro-am
• Gift certificates for amateurs on low finishing
teams
Pro-Am Entry Deadline:
Wednesday, June 18 at 5:00 p.m. CDT. All pro-am entry forms shall be returned to the Northern Texas PGA via mail, facsimile, overnight carrier or in person prior to the entry deadline.
Dress Code:
Proper golf attire is required. Bermuda-length shorts are permitted.
Non-Metal Spikes:
The Texas Women’s Open at Eastern Hills Country Club Pro-Am is a non-metal spike tournament only.

Eligibility:

(1) Past Champions; (2) Top 15 professionals and ties from the 2007 Texas Women’s Open; (3) Top 10 amateurs and ties from the 2007 Texas Women’s Open; (4) PGA Members and Apprentices; (5) LPGA Members; (6) 2007 Texas Legends Junior Tour Girls 15-18 Player of the Year.
Starting Field / Format:
Limited to 120 contestants. 36-hole stroke play event with no cut. If more than 120 entries are received, priority will be given to (1) Exempt players; (2) Remaining entries in the order they are received.
Purse:
Estimated professional purse of $10,000.00 (Based on 58 amateurs and 42 professionals). No amateur gift certificates will be awarded. The low three amateur finishers will receive a crystal trophy. 33% of the professional field will be paid. The following is a breakdown of the estimated purse based on 42 professionals competing.
Entry Fees:
$150.00 – Amateurs
$200.00 – LPGA / PGA Members and Apprentices
$250.00 – Other professionals / FUTURES Tour Members
All entry fees are payable in cash, cashier’s check, money order or American Express, Discover Card, MasterCard or VISA. Personal checks will be accepted from LPGA/PGA Members and Apprentices only. All players must have a valid social security number or tax identification number in order to enter the competition.
Tournament entry fees include tournament cart/range fees, a Cutter & Buck shirt, as well as breakfast prior to and lunch following each round.
Entry Deadline:
Friday, June 20 at 5:00 p.m. CDT. Entry forms shall be returned to the Northern Texas PGA via mail, facsimile, overnight carrier or in person prior to the entry deadline. Applications late or incomplete will not be accepted. Online entries will also be accepted at www.ntpga.com.
Refunds:
All refund requests must be made prior to the entry deadline, after which refunds will not be granted. NOTE: A $25.00 administrative fee will be charged should a player withdraw from the event.
Starting Times:
First round starting times will be emailed out to all players by the Northern Texas PGA. Starting times will also be available by calling Eastern Hills Country Club or the Northern Texas PGA or check www.ntpga.com after 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 21.
Practice Rounds:
Contact Eastern Hills Country Club to schedule a practice round. Practice round starting times are available two weeks prior to the event on a space available basis. NOTE: Practice rounds will only be available after 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24 due to the Texas Women’s Open at Eastern Hills Country Club Pro-Am. An all-inclusive fee of $20.00 will be charged for practice rounds. Practice rounds are available to contestants only.
Accommodations:
Best Western Park Suites, located in Plano is offering a rate of $79.00 (single/double) + tax. Please call (972) 578-2243 to make a reservation. When making a reservation, state that you are with the Northern Texas PGA group. The hotel is located approximately 25 minutes from Eastern Hills Country Club.
Eastern Hills Country Club is offering housing for contestants only with a host family during the event. The number of host family housing is limited. Please contact Christian Hughes at Eastern Hills Country Club for information and reservations.
