Accommodations

Hawthorne Suites, Wyndham Group Hotel, located in Richardson is offering rates of $79.99 (one bedroom) + tax and $99.99 (two
bedroom) + tax. Please call (800) 853-6030 to make a reservation. When making a reservation, ask for Lynn Koutney, Director of Sales
and state that you are with the Northern Texas PGA group. Please book your reservation as soon as possible to guarantee this special
rate. The hotel is located approximately 25 minutes from Eastern Hills Country Club.


Eastern Hills Country Club is offering housing for contestants only with a host family during the event. The number of host family
housing is limited. Please contact Blake Eastep at Eastern Hills Country Club for information and reservations.

Dress Code

Proper golf attire is required during the Championship and any applicable practice rounds. Contestants shall present a neat appearance,
appropriate to the game of golf, in both clothing and grooming. Denim clothing shall not be worn at the tournament site. Shorts and
sleeveless and/or collarless shirts are considered appropriate attire.


All caddies are required to wear long pants or knee-length tailored shorts, and a collared shirt while on club property. Denim clothing,
shorts, T-shirts, or shirts without collars shall not be worn. Caddies shall present a neat appearance in both clothing and personal
grooming. Caddies shall wear smooth rubber-sole shoes preferably tennis or basketball shoes (golf spikes are not permitted).

Measuring Devices Permitted

 

Distance Measuring Devices are permitted in the Texas Women's Open at Eastern Hills Country Club.

Rule 14.

A player may obtain distance information by using a device that measures distance only.  However, if, during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance-measuring device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his play (e.g., gradient, wind-speed, temperature, etc.), the player is in breach of Rule 14-3, for which penalty is disqualification, regardless of whether any such additional functions are actually used. 

New Beginning Center

The 2009 Texas Women’s Open at Eastern Hills Country Club will benefit the New Beginning Center of Garland. The center exists to


foster an environment of safety, support and respect for families affected by domestic violence. The vision of the New Beginning Center


is to promote social change that will lead to the elimination of domestic violence. For more information please visit

Non-Metal Spikes

Eastern Hills Country Club is a non-metal spike facility. Shoes with metal or ceramic spike(s) will not be permitted.

Practice Rounds

Contact Eastern Hills Country Club to schedule a practice round. Practice round starting times are available two weeks prior to the event
on a space available basis. NOTE: Practice rounds will only be available after 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23 due to the Texas Women’s
Open at Eastern Hills Country Club Pro-Am. An all-inclusive fee of $20.00 will be charged for practice rounds. Practice rounds are
available to contestants only.

Transportation

Contestants are required to use golf carts furnished by Eastern Hills Country Club, carry your own clubs or furnish a caddie. Only two
golf carts are permitted per group. NOTE: Only contestants or caddies are permitted to drive a golf cart. Contestants and their caddie are
NOT permitted to ride in a golf cart at the same time. Spectator carts will not be permitted.
