THE METRO CHAPTER PRO-ASSISTANT TEAM MATCH PLAY WILL NOT BE CONDUCTED THIS YEAR. FOR THIS REASON, NO QUALIFYING INFORMATION IS LISTED ON THE ENTRY FORM.

Host Professional:

Eligibility:
Open to eligible NTPGA Members classified A-1, A-2, A-4, A-13 or A-14 teamed with one or more of their employed A-6 Members, A-8 Members or Registered Apprentices [all B-Classifications]. A maximum of four (4) employed A-6 Members, A-8 Members or Registered Apprentices [all B-Classifications] from a facility may compete if playing with an A-1, A-2, A-4, A-13 or A-14. If an A-1, A-2, A-4, A-13 or A-14 is playing together, the maximum number of employed A-6 Members, A-8 Members or Registered Apprentices [all B-Classifications] that can compete is three (3). The maximum number of players per team is five (5).
Format:
36-holes at Four-Ball Stroke Play. Play will commence with an 8:45 a.m. shotgun start with continuous play over 36-holes. Box lunches will be provided during the round. Maximum field size is 132 players.
Purse:
$15,500.00 (based on 75 teams). The total purse includes a team purse as well as a $1,000.00 bonus pool from Srixon.
Separate Tees/Same Purse Policy:
A separate set of tees shall be provided for men 60 years of age or older and for all women professionals. This set shall be no less than 85% and no more than 90% of the overall Championship yardage. All competitors will compete for the same purse.
SRIXON Bonus Pool:
Srixon will be conducting a $1,000.00 bonus pool. To be eligible for the bonus pool, the NTPGA professional must play a Srixon ball for all 36-holes (One Ball Condition applies). The team’s score will determine the prize distribution. The low five (5) scores and ties will be awarded bonus pool monies with all ties equally shared.
Entry Fee:
$150.00 per team. This includes each contestant’s golf car, range balls, a dozen Srixon “Z-Star” or “Z-Star X” golf balls "VJ’s, Bo’s and Jim Furyk's ball of choice", and a Cutter & Buck golf shirt. A box lunch during play, along with h’dourves and beverages after play is provided compliments of RSM McGladrey.
Entry Deadline:
Thursday, March 5 at 5:00 p.m. CDT. Entry forms shall be returned to the Northern Texas PGA via mail, facsimile, overnight carrier or in person prior to the entry deadline. Please note that online registration is not available for this event.
Practice Rounds:
Contact Stonebriar Country Club to schedule a practice round. Practice rounds will be available Tuesday – Friday prior to the Championship and after 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 8.
Dress Policy:
Professionals may wear shorts during the Championship rounds.
