Eligibility:
Open to eligible NTPGA Members and Registered Apprentices and a scratch amateur of their choice. Entries will be accepted on a first come first serve basis.
Format:
36-holes at Four-Ball Stroke Play. 18-holes played each day. Round one (Monday) will be played on the Dye Course. Round two (Tuesday) will be played on the Hills Course (#1-18). The field will be re-paired by score in a reverse horseshoe format after the first round within the respective a.m. / p.m. waves. For the final round, all teams from the a.m. wave from round one will play in the p.m. wave. All teams from the p.m. wave from round one will play in the a.m. wave for the final round. In the event of a tie for the Championship, a hole-by-hole sudden death playoff will commence immediately following the completion of round two.
Purse:
$16,200.00 total purse (based on a full field). The total purse includes the team purse as well as a $4,000.00 professional only bonus pool as described below.
Separate Tees/Same Purse Policy:
A separate set of tees shall be provided for professional and amateur men 60 years of age or older and for all women. This set shall be no less than 85% and no more than 90% of the overall Championship yardage. All competitors will compete for the same purse.
Adams Golf Bonus Pool:
Adams Golf will be offering a $4,000.00 bonus pool for NTPGA professionals. To be eligible for the bonus pool, the NTPGA professional must play an Adams Golf product as defined by having a minimum of either one wood (driver or fairway), one hybrid club, or one set of irons (minimum of six clubs to qualify as a set). A total of 10 places will be paid, with first place receiving $1,200.00. All ties will be pro-rated. Amateurs will not be eligible for the Adams Golf bonus pool.
Entry Fee:
$300.00 per team. This includes cart/range fees for both rounds, and lunch following the first round as well as the professional/amateur purse.
Entry Deadline:
Thursday, April 16 at 5:00 p.m. CDT. The first 84 team entries will be accepted into the field. Entry forms shall be returned to the Northern Texas PGA via mail, facsimile, overnight carrier or in person, contestants may also enter on-line, prior to the entry deadline. On-line entries will be accepted at www.ntpga.com. If a team signs up on-line, the professional must sign up the team and must pay the team entry fee of $300.00, in full at that time. NOTE: A $10.00 administrative fee will be charged should a team withdraw.
Starting Times:
First round starting times will be emailed out to all professionals by the NTPGA. Times will also be available by calling Stonebridge Ranch Country Club (Dye or Hills Courses) or the Northern Texas PGA, or checking on www.ntpga.com after 3:00 p.m. on Friday, April 17.
Practice Rounds:
Contact Stonebridge Ranch Country Club Dye & Hills Courses to schedule a practice round starting time and state you are playing in the Adams Golf NTPGA Pro-Scratch Championship. Practice rounds are available Monday – Thursday during normal operating hours and Friday – Sunday after 2:00 p.m. beginning Monday, April 6. Practice round fees are $20.00 inclusive per player. Please note that the Dye Course is closed on Mondays and the Hills Course is closed on Tuesdays.
Dress Policy:
Professionals and amateurs may wear shorts during the Championship.
Non-Metal Spikes:
Stonebridge Ranch Country Club is a non-metal spike facility. Shoes with metal spikes will not be permitted.

Best Western McKinney Inn & Suites – (972) 548-3000. The hotel is located five minutes from Stonebridge Ranch Country Club.
